Gaming Corps, a popular iGaming developer of a variety of games, including slots, multiplier, mine, and table titles, has expanded in the African online casino market with the help of Betway Group, an international operator that is gathering momentum in the region. Thanks to this new partnership, Gaming Corps’ titles will be available in four jurisdictions locally through the Betway brand.
The titles are now readily accessible to the brand’s players in Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Zambia, including Raging Zeus Mines, Wild Woof, Super Hot Stacks, and Lobster Hotpot. Gaming Corps CCO Danielle Calafato welcomed the opportunity to see this partnership form.
"I’m thrilled to partner with Betway Group; one of the most recognizable names in online gaming," Calafato said. The tie-up constitutes a significant step forward for Gaming Corps and the company’s efforts to gain a firmer foothold in the fast-evolving and expanding iGaming market in Africa.
"I’m very excited about our upcoming plans and look forward to sharing more in due course," Calafato concluded. These sentiments were echoed by Betway Group Product Manager Hailee Cook who was similarly pleased with the opportunity to enrich the brand’s game library through the addition of another high-quality suite of games.
"I’m very excited to offer these games to our players and I look forward to hosting more Gaming Corps titles at Betway as they continue to produce first-class content," Cook added. Betway has been expanding actively in Africa, securing entries into new markets as the company expects a huge surge in the demand for quality online casino gambling across the various territories on the continent.
Gaming Crops has been working to actively expand its international footprint and gain purchases in the most heavily regulated markets. Recent partnerships with Lottoland and Betfair reflected this ambition.
The African market is still a rather underdeveloped region in terms of iGaming, but international brands are fast to pay notice to the surge of interest and emerging activities. Betway and 888 are both competing locally, as they seek to establish their otherwise well-known brands.
888AFRICA, for example, recently acquired BetLions to continue spearheading rapid growth across the region, and the company launched 888bet in Kenya last year.
