Caesars Entertainment had some exciting news to announce last week with the company launching into the iGaming space in Pennsylvania with one of its brands, Tropicana Online Casino. The launch follows another recent rollout with Tropicana Online Casino previously arriving in New Jersey’s regulated iGaming market as well.
Players will find a host of games at the Keystone State online casino, including all their popular slots, table games, video poker, poker, live casino games, and more. The games featured include American and European Roulette, Live Dealer Blackjack, Baccarat, and more.
Tropicana Online Casino marks the 19th casino that has gone live in the Keystone State, and it’s also the second one that Caesars Entertainment currently operates in the state, increasing the company’s presence and footprint. The casino is integrated with the Caesars Rewards program, a loyalty experience that allows players to receive perks at land-based properties, for example.
Tropicana Online Casino features a number of excellent games, too, with dozens of slots, more than 10 table games, and around 25 live dealer games for players to explore. Among the popular slots featured in the casino are choices such as Blazin’ Hot 7s Big Bonus and 88 Fortunes, with more launches planned for the brand. Caesars Entertainment doubling down in Pennsylvania is not exactly surprising.
The state offers one of the most vibrant iGaming markets. Online casinos in the Keystone State posted a total of $181.5m in revenue in March, and they are likely going to remain very strong in April, especially with most sports events now over. Just by scaling its presence, Caesars Entertainment is not guaranteed to actually secure a bigger pie of the share.
The first numbers will come in May when the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board collects results for revenue generated. The results will be published in June 2023. Presently, Caesars' other online casino, operated under the skin at Harrah’s Philadelphia, has been able to pull close to $6m in monthly revenue in March from online casino games.
Assuming this trend is replicated across Tropicana Online Casino, Caesars may easily wind up with around $10m in monthly revenue from online casino gaming between its two casinos. With 19 properties in the state, Caesars Entertainment may soon be topping the pecking order in Pennsylvania’s iGaming industry.
