According to the PGL, the PGL CS2 Tier 1 Program will build on the foundation of the traditional PGL format, which has proven its competitive structure and become an example for the Counter-Strike ecosystem.
Many of the professional CS2 teams like the PGL format, which resonates well not only with the players but with the global fan base of the game.
The PGL format has undergone changes following many successful events.
Presently, it has become the closest possible to the CS Majors format.
