Set to celebrate one of the biggest esports competitions in Counter-Strike 2, betting and gaming company GG.Bet has launched a new betting contest that started on January 22 and will run through February 9.
The contest allows the most prescient esports fans and bettors to secure a share of the €20,000 prize pool, which will be divvied up between the 100 best finishers.
The event that everyone will be betting on is the Intel Extreme Masters Counter-Strike 2, which is set to take place in Krakow from January 28 - February 8.
To qualify, players must place bets at odds of 1.50 or higher, which is a customary requirement for esports (and sports) betting contests. GG.Bet is one of the first brands to strongly embrace esports, with much of its visual identity and design logic centered around the idea of catering to gamers.
The company has habitually teamed up with tournament hosts, such as BLAST Premier, another prominent esports gathering with a strong Counter-Strike streak.
However, the company announced that it is exiting the UK market after nearly three years in the market at the end of last year.
