Zeal Network SE strengthens C-suite with two appointments

The leading German provider of lotteries on the internet, ZEAL Network SE, announced changes to its senior-level management team. On Monday, the company revealed that its Supervisory Board hired the financial expert, Sebastian Bielski. Joining the company's C-suite, he was appointed to the Zeal Management Board, starting from September 15, 2023, a statement reveals.

As a part of ZEAL, he will become its new Group CFO, an appointment that will be in effect as of October 1, 2023. In his new role, the company explained, Bielski will oversee strategic processes related to Finance, as well as Investor Relations. He will also be in charge of ZEAL's entire ESG matters.

Becoming a part of the company's C-suite, Bielski will succeed Jonas Mattsson. According to ZEAL, Mattsson has decided not to extend his mandate further. Currently, he also holds a dual role as CFO of LOTTO24. Mattsson was in that role since December 2019. ZEAL's Supervisory Board confirmed that it has selected the company's VP Group Controlling, Andrea Behrendt, to fill in for Mattsson's role with LOTTO24. That appointment will be valid as of October 1, 2023, explained the leading German provider of lotteries on the internet.

Bielski was delighted to join ZEAL and he shared his excitement by saying: "I would like to thank the Supervisory Board of ZEAL for placing their trust in me." He pointed out that he will leverage his extensive experience and focus on strategic priorities for the company. Finally, Bielski said: "ZEAL is an extraordinary success story, and I am excited to accompany ZEAL on its future growth path."

Overall, he brings solid experience within the financial vertical after holding senior-level roles with globally-recognized businesses. He studied business administration in Seoul, Republic of Korea, as well as Köln and Leipzig, Germany. Additionally, Bielski has a Master of Science in Management from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and an MBA from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management.

Most recently, he was a part of Energiekonzepte Deutschland GmbH where he held the role of Chief Financial Officer. Additionally, Bielski's professional background includes leadership roles with the leading German loan comparison portal, smava GmbH, as well as Delivery Hero where he served as Chief Strategy Officer. His professional career features roles with Archer Capital and Goldman Sachs too.

Helmut Becker, ZEAL's Chief Executive Officer, shared his excitement about the latest appointment.
