Evoke brings in fresh talent as non-exec director

Gambling and betting company Evoke has appointed a new Non-Executive Director of the Board, tapping Susan Standiford, a former Zeal Network C-level top brass, for the position.

Standiford will be joining effective on November 1, 2024, and serve as part of the audit and risk committee, helping the company execute strategic decisions and move ahead with its global plan.

Standiford brings a wealth of experience with her

Standiford is a well-seasoned business veteran who has held various positions across different industries and has the insight and prowess to help steer Evoke towards its strategic long-term goals.

Standiford brings more than 30 years of experience in technology, management, and product development, and she has worked as CTO for IKEA Retail as well as Chief Product and Technology Officer for StepStone, a software firm.

Her most notable industry experience has to do with Zeal Network where she served as COO. Evoke was pleased with the opportunity, hailing Standiford as a remarkable business individual with extensive leadership experience and know-how.

"Susan brings 30 years of product, technology and managerial experience from various industries at companies such as Oracle, Disney, and Travelocity. Susan is active in the startup and scale-up communities as a mentor, advisor and angel investor," the company said in a brief statement.

Evoke on a transformative mission across all facets

Evoke has been growing on all fronts, not just by strengthening its in-house team of experts. The company has recently pursued a new deal with Romania’s Winner, a B2C operator servicing the Eastern European market.

The company also teamed up with Department of Trust to strengthen the level of player safety it provides customers by leveraging the specialist’s advanced and cutting-edge solutions in this vertical.
