Trustly and Station Casinos have signed a new payment processing agreement via which the Open Banking Payments company will assist the operator with the flawless execution of payments to and from the STN Charms, an NFT loyalty marketplace set up by Station Casinos.

Station Casinos, which focuses on operating digitally, introduced its STN Charms marketplace on March 31, and leveraged its unique technological edge to achieve stronger loyalty experiences for its audiences. Players are treated to what the operator refers to as "digital charms" which are rewarded as customers play games.

Players can further buy and sell these non-fungible tokens as they see fit, something that will be further facilitated by Trustly and its powerful banking system. Commenting on this opportunity, Red Rock Resorts & Station Casinos SVP of Innovation Tom Mikulich has hailed the marketplace as a "one-of-a-kind-innovation in gaming.

He also explained how important it is for Station Casinos to team up with Trustly and the company’s Open Banking technology, which will help elevate the STN Charms marketplace and allow Station Casinos to continue to provide an impeccable product to its customers.

Trustly is de facto the exclusive payment provider for the STN Charms marketplace moving forward, with the fintech company in charge of ensuring that consumer deposits and withdrawals run smoothly and without complications.

Trustly will work with CentralAMS, which is currently in charge of Station Casinos’ digital wallets and payments, to ensure that transactions are carried out smoothly and without any traction for consumers.

The payment processor was happy about the new opportunity, with Trustly VP of Gaming John Parsons hailing the opportunity to work closer with CentralAMS on the STN Charms project. It was another chance for Trustly to demonstrate the capabilities of Open Banking technology and create a groundbreaking loyalty program with an integral payment system that leads to better experiences across the board.

CentralAMS Managing Director Mark Lipparelli was similarly pleased about this new opportunity and the partnership with Trustly. He hailed the opportunity to work together with the fintech company on the STN Charms project and elevate it a notch further.
