The leading supplier of odds and esports data that is a part of Kambi Group, Abios, expanded the reach of its solutions after signing an agreement with the Swedish operator, Svenska Spel.
Announced earlier this week, the collaboration saw Abios agree to deliver the operator its complete esoccer product.
As a result, Svenska Spel will leverage the company's extensive range of odds, widgets and streams, supercharging its offering.
Abios' esoccer offering leverages automated models, and real-time data from official rights holders and it is also backed by a team of seasoned experts.
This enables the company's product to cover more than 12,000 matches monthly.
Considering its extensive coverage, Abios regularly ranks as one of the top leagues when it comes to the number of bets.
Earlier this year, Abios confirmed the hire of Danske Spil's former executive, Rasmus Schmidt Christensen.
Joining the company, he was appointed to the newly created role of Head of Odds Operations.
Ida Björklund, Svenska Spel's Head of Sports Betting, shared her excitement regarding the new deal with Abios.
"By adding esoccer to our offering, we allow our customers to enjoy an exciting new product that has grown rapidly in popularity," she explained in a statement.
Björklund revealed that the collaboration will enhance the customer experience considering that bettors will have the ability to track their wagers throughout a match. Finally, she acknowledged that the additional capabilities complement Svenska Spel's extensive offering.
Anton Janér, Abios' Managing Director and Co-founder, added: "As a company founded in Stockholm we're incredibly happy to power Svenska Spel, one of the most well-known brands within Swedish sports."
In conclusion, he pointed out: "Esoccer has grown rapidly for us in recent months, and it is exciting to see that the novel product features we've rolled out have gained traction and boosted results for our partners."
As a leading licensed operator in the Swedish market, Svenska Spel has established a solid presence within the online gambling vertical in the country.
Besides casino games, the company offers a wide range of betting options.
In addition, Svenska Spell is recognized as Swedish sports' largest sponsor with its generous contributions.
Earlier this year, Svenska Spel reported 93% earnings from non-risk customers.
The announcement in August underlined the operator's "healthy revenue" that reached 93.2% for the second quarter of the year.
This was a solid result as it marked a year-over-year increase, reaffirming Svenska Spel's dedication to responsible gambling and sustainable growth.
