The leading business-to-customer and business-to-business daily fantasy and sports betting licensed provider, Scout Gaming Group (SGG), expanded its global presence after inking a new deal late last week. The company revealed it joined forces with DFS Entretenimento Ltda-owned Brazilian fantasy sports operator, Cartola.
Under the terms of the new deal, SGG agreed to provide its leading Fantasy Sports products for Cartola. The collaboration marks an important moment for the company and boosts its global expansion. At the same time, SGG gains access to a robust market that holds significant potential.
A statement released by SGG explains that Cartola's primary focus is fantasy sports and daily fantasy. The Group explained that its product is expected to be launched with the Brazilian operator at some point during the first quarter of next year.
Niklas Jönsson, SGG's Chief Executive Officer, shared his excitement in a statement released on December 16, 2022. He said that the company is delighted to deliver its leading fantasy sports and daily fantasy products to a new partner for the market in Brazil. Jönsson said that the new partnership with Cartola marks an exciting moment. In conclusion, he said: "We are looking forward to the coming cooperation."
SGG's latest deal comes after earlier this year, the company expanded its presence in North America. Back in October, the company announced it joined forces with Apple iSports Inc. Similarly to the deal with Cartola, SGG agreed to provide its sportsbook and fantasy sports products for Apple iSports.
Coinciding with the announcement about the deal with Cartola in Brazil, SGG revealed that it has completed a B2B operations restructuring. Details of the planned change were announced in the company's Q3 report, but now, it has been confirmed that the process is finalized.
According to SGG, completing the restructuring "means that the number of B2B cooperations under agreement amounts to thirteen, where of eight are integrated and five is planned to be in full operation during the first quarter of 2023." This process, the company explained, involves the partnership in Brazil as well.
Founded in 2013, SGG is nearly a decade old. For the time, the leading developer and provider of fantasy sports and betting solutions proved to be a reliable partner for fast-growing operators around the globe. The company currently has a team of more than 80 dedicated experts with years of experience within the industry. Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, the company has offices and employees in Norway, Malta and Ukraine.
