Evoplay has appointed a new VP North America in the face of Ashley McCulloch, a seasoned multi-vertical industry veteran, who will help the studio spearhead its efforts regionally, with a strong focus on the United States and Canada.
McCulloch’s appointment has been welcomed by Evoplay CEO Ivan Kravchuk, who has welcomed the new executive to the studio’s ranks, hailing her expertise and describing it as a major step forward for the studio’s ambitions in the region.
"Her extensive experience across land-based and online gaming, combined with her track record in commercial strategy, makes her the ideal person to lead our efforts as we scale," Kravchuk added.
McCulloch is no chance hire, and she is a well-seasoned business veteran with 15 years of experience across land-based, VLT, and online gaming. She has previously held senior commercial roles with Light & Wonder and IGT, and is arriving fresh out of a position as Director of Account Management North America with INspire Gaming Group.
Commenting on her appointment with Evoplay, McCulloch was similarly pleased with the opportunity to help spearhead the studio’s next growth chapter across a region she is comfortable with and vastly experienced in, calling it a pivotal moment.
"The studio has built a strong reputation for high-quality content, and I look forward to developing partnerships and driving sustainable growth across North America," she wrapped up.
Evoplay has been growing its regional footprint at a good clip, besides the restructuring of its team. The company pushed into Ontario, Canada, with BetMGM, another major milestone for the supplier, a few weeks back.
In the same stride, Evoplay has maintained innovation momentum through the introduction of player-centric games, emphasizing agency with Cricket Duel, an instant game.
