Playtika unveils two strategic hires strengthening leadership team

The leading mobile gaming company, Playtika Holding Corp, announced two senior-level appointments. The company confirmed Monday it hired the services of experts Darlan Monterisi and Gili Brudno. Monterisi joined the company as its new Executive Vice President and Global Head of Communications, while Brudno was appointed to the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

The appointments are expected to boost Playtika's growth and at the same time help the company continue its strategic expansion. The duo brings extensive experience to the mobile gaming entertainment and technology company which is ultimately expected to help them in their journey forward.

Shlomi Aizenberg, Playtika's Chief Operating Officer, shared his excitement about the appointments in a statement saying: "Gili and Darlan bring tremendous experience and perspective to Playtika." Finally, he pointed out: "The strengths of these exceptional leaders will advance Playtika among our diverse set of stakeholders, helping propel us in realizing our ambitious vision."

In her new role as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Communications, Monterisi will be in charge of Playtika's corporate and brand communications. Moreover, she will oversee public affairs, corporate and digital content, as well as media relations and employee engagement. Monterisi is expected to deliver strategic guidance and advice to her fellow executives and help the growth of the business.

Prior to joining Playtika, she was a part of Dataminr, an artificial intelligence company. During her tenure with the company, Monterisi was in charge of its brand and corporate communications. Additionally, she was also a public affairs officer for the US Marine Corps. Overall, Monterisi has more than two decades of experience after being a part of globally recognized companies such as Rockstar Games and CA Technologies, among others.

On the other hand, as Chief Human Resources Officer, Brudno will be in charge of Playtika's human resources strategy on a global scale. She is expected to play a pivotal role in the building of "robust talent strategies and advancing the employee experience to progress Playtika’s position as a premier employer."

Without any doubt, Brudno is the right person for the role, considering that she has extensive experience within the human resources vertical. Throughout her professional career, she was a part of organizations that were different in size, from startups to large-scale global companies.

Prior to joining Playtika, Brudno held the role of Chief People Officer at BioCatch. Before that, she served as VP of HR for the Global Services Sales Business at SAP. Brudno's professional background includes different senior-level roles with TEVA Pharmaceutical Industries as well.
