Playtech and BoyleSports have confirmed their intention to continue collaborating on their existing partnership throughout 2028. The company will remain the main technological and solutions provider for BoyleSports, a sports betting company that utilizes a host of advanced products to maintain a robust offer for players.
BoyleSports and Playtech have been collaborating for several years now, with their tie-up originally to be reviewed in 2025, but both partners agreeing that the relationship has so far proven fruitful enough to mandate an early renewal of the contract.
The original contract extension through 2025 was signed back in 2020, and it marks the two companies' commitment to building their footprint and reputation for excellence as part of a team and a mutually beneficial partnership.
Apart from offering sports betting products, both companies focus on the Live Casino vertical, which is powered by Playtech, and brings exclusive and branded titles to BoyleSports’ player bases, helping the brand diversify its offer and pull away from over-reliance on a single genre of products specifically.
Panos Scoursis, Commercial Director at Playtech, has welcomed the opportunity to see his company continue its collaboration with BoyleSports and deliver more outstanding and worthwhile products.
"This partnership is a testament to our commitment to delivering high-quality gaming experiences while upholding our dedication to responsible gaming," Scoursis noted.
This news was similarly welcomed by BoyleSports Gaming Director Steve Payne who expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity to see the two companies continue to work together in the foreseeable future.
The Live Casino games were also extended to 2028 as part of this collaboration. Commenting at length about the significance of the move, Payne had this to say: "We are passionate about creating the best possible player experience across all verticals and remain confident that our continued partnership with Playtech will enable us to do just that."
Playtech has been hard to bolster its position in the iGaming sector, with the company having launched several important partnerships. Most recently, Playtech entered into a partnership with Boyd Interactive Gaming, agreeing to offer content to the latter’s Stardust-branded online casinos in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The company has also been trying to get a foothold with 888 Holdings, with Playtech circling the former entity’s business and trying to buy out it. 888 though has held its ground and has turned down the offer.
