A sign that says Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has reported that the Keystone State’s gambling verticals and operations have generated a total of $452,357,922 in gross gaming revenue for the month of November, or an increase of 4.59% on annual basis. The present results are ahead of the November 2021 gaming results, and remain on track to continue expanding, the regulator shares in a press release.

The PGCB has taken all regulated verticals into consideration, to wit slot machines, internet gaming, table games, sports wagering, fantasy contests, and VGTs. Most of the properties that conducted licensed gambling operations in November saw a significant increase in their results, but some also registered declines.

The overall tally though put Pennsylvania ahead for the month at a 4.5% increase from November 2021. Hollywood Casino at Penn National registered a total revenue of $71,231,136 ahead of last year’s $60,097,689 the property reported. That was an 18.53% change in the overall results.

Valley Forge Casino Resort posted $64,645,799 in total gaming revenue for November 2022, ahead of the $57,091,989, or a 13.23% increase. Live Casino Philadelphia was among the other big winners with the property generating $21,445,536 ahead of the $18,351,913, or a 16.86% increase.

In terms of losers, Rivers Casino Pittsburgh saw its results shrink by 8.46%. The gross gaming revenue went from $32,096,989 to $29,380,735. Parx Casino surprisingly posted a small decline as well by 6.63%. The results went from $56,328,909 to $52,595,942. Another casino to see a decline in the results over the past month was Mohegan Pennsylvania which registered a slow drop of 5.25%.

Still, overall results managed to beat last year’s $432,490,129 in collected revenue from gaming. The PGCB offered a further breakdown of its performance and numbers by taking a direct look at how each individual segment has performed. The biggest losers were retail table games (4.43%) and sports wagering revenue (16.95%).

Retail slot revenue remained fairly unchanged, increasing by 0.04%. Revenue from iGaming slots increased by 36.45% year-over-year with revenue sitting at $63,481,648 a year ago but increasing to $86,619,197 in the present reporting period. Online poker saw a decrease of 7.77% over the reported period.
