The fast-growing online lottery courier service that enables customers to buy official state lottery tickets from their phone, PC or tablet, Jackpot.com, announced a groundbreaking partnership that will further propel its presence across the United States.
On Thursday, the company revealed it joined forces with the largest convenience store chain in the world, 7-Eleven Inc.
Under the terms of the new exclusive landmark agreement, Jackpot.com was designated as the store chain's official lottery courier service.
Thanks to the newly signed agreement, 7-Eleven customers in Ohio and Massachusetts will be able to sign up with Jackpot.com and also play different scratchers and lottery games via its official website or app.
A press release from the fast-growing lottery courier service confirms that the initiative is initially going to be available in more than 600 7-Eleven and Speedway stores across Massachusetts and Ohio.
An incentive for new customers who sign up at 7-Eleven stores in the two states will be a free lottery ticket upon making their first deposit and entering a promo code "7Eleven".
The launches in Ohio and Massachusetts further complement the expansion of Jackpot.com, enabling more customers than ever before to access its convenient services.
Both markets represent important jurisdictions for the lottery courier service.
Massachusetts is recognized for being a major lottery market, considering it recorded $1.2bn in net profit for the 2024 fiscal year.
On the other hand, Ohio is known as the seventh-largest lottery market in the country.
While providing customers with a range of lottery and scratcher games, Jackpot.com also supports responsible play.
The lottery courier service supports deposit and spending limits and adheres to self-exclusion, while also offering options for cooling off.
Moreover, Jackpot.com's systems help identify problematic behavior and if necessary, may enforce suspensions or automated notifications.
Akshay Khanna, Jackpot.com's CEO and co-founder, shared his excitement about the collaboration with 7-Eleven.
"We're thrilled to work with 7-Eleven, the leading retailer of lottery tickets in the country," he revealed.
Finally, Khanna pointed out: "Leveraging our technology and innovation, we can provide additional convenience for their customers, while adding an additional source of revenue. A true win-win relationship for all."
The milestone agreement with 7-Eleven comes on the heels of another important collaboration announced by Jackpot.com recently.
Earlier this month, the lottery courier service expanded its US presence with a launch in Colorado.
This key market entry increased the number of states where Jackpot.com offers its services to seven.
