The leading betting and gaming operator with a solid presence in European markets and operating a range of iconic brands, FDJ United, announced changes to its senior-level leadership team.
Earlier this week, the company confirmed the promotion of Pascal Chaffard and Celia Verot.
Per the announcement, Chaffard, who served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Strategy and Performance leader, will be spearheading the Online Betting and Gaming business unit.
He assumes the dual role of Chief Online Betting and Gaming Officer and Group Strategy as well as Operational Transformation Officer.
In his new position as Chief Online Betting and Gaming Officer, Chaffard succeeds Nils Andén.
Previously, Andén held the role and played a major part in the integration of Kindred into the Group since October 2024.
However, FDJ United confirmed that Andén is now parting ways with the company and plans to "pursue new projects."
Considering that Chaffard assumes the new senior-level role, the position of CFO is yet to be filled.
Holding the position of Chief Online Betting and Gaming Officer, Chaffard will oversee the Group's operational transformation and strategy, among other key processes.
According to a press release by FDJ United, the recruitment process for a new CFO has already started and the successor of the role will be announced in due time.
As noted, Celia Verot was also appointed to a new role at FDJ United.
Previously, she served as Chief Regulatory Officer since joining the company in 2024.
However, FDJ United said that effective January 1, Verot was appointed to the elevated position of General Secretary, General Counsel and Chief Regulatory Officer.
