The fast-growing commission-free, peer-to-peer trading on sports platform, Novig, completed a new funding round, accelerating its expansion.
On Wednesday, the company announced it closed a $75m Series B round led by Pantera Capital.
Existing investors such as Forerunner, Perceptive Ventures and NFX, participated in the round.
Multicoin Capital, Makers Fund and Edge Equity also participated in the Series B round.
Ultimately, the fresh capital is expected to help Novig reach its next level of growth.
Jacob Fortinsky, Novig's CEO and Co-Founder, was excited about the latest announcement, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"Our mission is to democratize and financialize sports markets, and we're proud of the fact that Novig users are 10 times more likely to win than on traditional sportsbooks," he said.
Fortinsky added: "We chose to partner with the best crypto venture firms in the world to further accelerate our plans to make Novig the most efficient and liquid sports prediction market in the world."
According to the executive, other companies try to financialize prediction markets with uncertain demand, whereas Novig uses prediction market technology to fix markets where there's already a demand.
After the newly completed funding round, Novig's total capital is estimated at more than $105m.
At the same time, the company has recorded an exceptional increase of 10 times in trading volume during 2025.
Annually, Novig's trading volume surpasses the mind-blowing sum of $4bn.
The company has recently officially submitted an application to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Ultimately, Novig seeks to become a licensed Designated Contract Market (DCM) and once achieved, this milestone moment would propel its expansion as a federally regulated exchange in all 50 states.
While sportsbooks use the bet against the house model, Novig offers a commission-free, peer-to-peer exchange where traders compete against each other on a level playing field.
The platform completely eliminates unfair odds, hidden fees and punitive limits on winning players, reaffirming its dedication as a reputable sports prediction platform.
