The official destination marketing organization of Southern Nevada that promotes tourism, conventions, meetings and special events, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), completed the renovation of the Las Vegas Convention Center's (LVCC) legacy campus.
The announcement came ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the largest and most influential technology trade show.
Earlier this week, the LVCVA revealed that after the completion of the $600m redevelopment of LVCC's legacy campus, CES will be the first trade show to occupy the renovated space.
The Las Vegas Convention Center is owned and operated by the Authority and the transformation of the legacy campus was initiated in 2023.
Following the completion of the redevelopment, visitors can expect a glass curtain wall offering an abundance of natural light at the Central Hall Grand Lobby.
Catering to organizers and exhibitors, a large 75-foot by 42-foot digital screen, complemented by two other screens, offers branding and advertising opportunities.
On the other hand, visitors can now access the South Hall via a new entrance located on the East side.
The South Hall also offers a brand-new administrative office area, as well as a state-of-the-art boardroom, among other amenities.
As is usual, CES this year is expected to attract thousands of visitors and exhibitors from across the globe.
Welcoming global innovators, CES 2026 will showcase technology addressing many different challenges.
Steve Hill, LVCVA's President and CEO, spoke with excitement about the completion of the $600m renovation.
"This milestone signals the next leap for trade shows in Las Vegas, delivering a world-class convention center experience that reflects the scale and ambition of our city," he said.
Moreover, Hill pointed out: "It’s fitting to share this moment with CES, the world’s most influential technology show and our long-standing partner. Their continued commitment underscores the future of global events in Las Vegas."
The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), which owns and produces CES, joined LVCVA to celebrate the milestone achievement.
Gary Shapiro, CTA's CEO and Executive Chair, said: "CES demands the best in hospitality and logistical precision, and Las Vegas delivers that better than any other location."
Finally, he acknowledged the remarkable renovation at the LVCC, explaining that there isn't a better city than Las Vegas in the world to host the world-famous trade show.
