A famous actor, who currently lives in Busan, a large port city located in South Korea, will participate in the production of promotional videos that combat various crimes.
That’s the case for Han Sang-jin, a popular actor known for starring in TV dramas.
As announced by SBS News, Sang-jin will participate in promotional videos that seek to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs, gambling and school violence.
The famous actor joins forces with the Busan Dongnae Police Station for the new promotional videos that will describe the dangers associated with criminal activities while stressing the importance of prevention.
Sang-jin settled in Busan with his wife, Park Jung-eun, six years ago.
By engaging in this initiative, the Seoul-born actor is expected to reach not only his fan base but people across Busan and prevent crimes associated with gambling, drugs and school violence.
Billions, the agency that works with Sang-jin, confirmed his participation in the initiative on Monday, September 14, 2026.
The first video starring the famous actor has yet to be released. It is likely that separate spots will explain the severity of crimes while others will target prevention.
In any case, the topics of the new promotional videos are vital, considering the increase in online gambling activities, challenges related to school violence, and drug use.
The 48-year-old Sang-jin is best known for his appearance in TV dramas like The King’s Doctor, Marry Me, Please, Yi San and Behind the White Tower, among others.
