The leading global provider of gaming, digital and financial technology solutions, IGT, plans to advance its financial and operational transformation thanks to a new appointment.

On Monday, the company confirmed it hired Adam Chibib, an executive with significant financial and operational leadership experience.

The new CFO will succeed Fabio Celadon

Joining IGT, Chibib was appointed to the key role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Although the company confirmed the new CFO’s appointment this week, it said that Chibib will assume the position, effective November 1, 2026.

In order to take the reins as CFO, all required regulatory approvals must be secured, IGT added.

As CFO, Chibib will succeed Fabio Celadon, who will continue to hold the CFO position through October 31, 2026. After that date, Celadon will transition to an advisor position until December 31, 2026, and ensure a smooth transition of priorities.

While part of IGT and its predecessor, Celadon’s experience spans more than 20 years.

Throughout his extensive career, he held a number of senior leadership roles with a focus on corporate development, finance, and strategy.

With Chibib assuming the role of CFO, IGT will continue its transformation, focusing on operating discipline and portfolio performance.

He will be tasked with overseeing the company’s global finance organization and ensuring that its financial strategy and priorities align with the planned long-term objectives.

Adam Chibib brings significant experience and a wide range of skills

Chibib spoke with excitement about his position at IGT and explained: "IGT has a strong portfolio, leading market positions and a clear opportunity to create value."

Hector Fernandez, IGT’s Chief Executive Officer, was similarly excited.

"Adam brings the public company, private equity and gaming experience we need for this stage of IGT's transformation," he said.

"I look forward to working with Hector, the leadership team and the Finance organization to strengthen financial and operating discipline, align capital with our highest priorities and build a durable foundation for growth," the incoming CFO added.

Fernandez pointed to Chibib’s experience, operating mindset and financial discipline, making him an excellent addition to the IGT C-suite.

"I also want to thank Fabio for more than two decades of leadership and commitment to IGT. He has helped guide the company through significant change and has been a trusted partner across the business," the CEO said in conclusion.

Bringing more than three decades of experience, Chibib is a proven leader with significant experience in the financial vertical.

Under his guidance, a number of companies transformed and capitalized markets.

Before joining IGT, Chibib was most recently CFO at Raptor Technologies.

His background includes senior-level roles at playAGS, as well as Multimedia Games, among other companies.
