The global provider of content, solutions and software, powering lottery, iLottery and iGaming operators around the globe, International Game Technology (IGT), continues to expand its footprint after announcing a new partnership. The company confirmed last week it agreed to deploy its iLottery platform for Totalizator Sportowy in Poland. Under the terms of the new agreement, IGT delivered its iLottery platform, along with all of its components to the cloud.
The agreement marks an important milestone for IGT as it is the first time the company's comprehensive iLottery platform is launched to the cloud. At the same time, Poland's national lottery became the first European operator to benefit from IGT's end-to-end iLottery system on the cloud, a statement reveals.
Srini Nedunuri, IGT's Senior Vice President, iLottery, commented on the topic and pointed out: "Moving Totalizator Sportowy's iLottery central system to the cloud marks an exciting first-time, end-to-end cloud deployment for IGT." Finally, Nedunuri explained: "We recognize the many benefits of cloud technology and know that it facilitates easier integration of data and insights, faster upgradeability and scalability, and improves overall efficiency. These benefits will ultimately deliver a more dynamic experience for Poland's iLottery players."
Olgierd Cieślik, Totalizator Sportowy's CEO, shared the excitement of IGT's SVP of iLottery and pointed out that the lottery teamed up with IGT in an effort to deliver thrilling and responsible experiences via its leading lottery solutions. Moreover, he pointed out that the collaboration with IGT will help deliverinnovative lottery technology and systems for Totalizator Sportowy.
"Deploying our iLottery platform in the cloud offers us scalability and helps us reduce time to market for system enhancements," Cieślik added. Finally, he said: "Totalizator Sportowy is always eager to introduce innovation, and in this case, we are the first lottery in Europe to have an end-to-end cloud-based iLottery technology."
Thanks to the collaboration with IGT, the Polish national lottery operator will benefit from IGT Command, the company's high-performing player account management system. The agreement sees the deployment of the innovative system to the cloud as well. IGT's player account management system is renowned around the globe for its scalability, convenience and iLottery player-centric functions.
In addition to the player account management platform, Poland's national lottery operator will benefit from IGT's complete lineup of products that bring a variety of customer engagement and responsible gaming options. The latest collaboration builds upon another agreement announced by the duo. Previously, IGT agreed to power Totalizator Sportowy by launching its remote gaming server to the cloud, bringing premium and engaging content to its growing number of players.
