Dan Whiteley joins Bede Gaming as Chief Technology Officer

The provider of world-class platforms powering the online gambling industry, Bede Gaming, announced a new senior-level appointment. The company revealed it strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of the expert, Dan Whiteley, to the role of Chief Technology Officer, a statement reveals.

Overall, Whiteley brings extensive experience in the development of complex digital products and technology solutions over the last 25 years. Throughout his professional career, he held senior-level roles with CTS, Jugo, as well as Flutter, the global gaming and betting giant. Whiteley has strong knowledge in digital transformation, development of technological and innovative visions, as well as security and IT operations.

Currently, Bede Gaming's platform handles more than £7bn ($9bn) in stakes on an annual basis. Having Whiteley aboard, the company expects to see him leverage his wide experience in building high-performance, scalable and innovative solutions. His strategic guidance and knowledge are expected to help Bede Gaming continue to grow its operations and expand globally.

The latest appointment comes on the heels of other senior-level hires announced by the fast-growing iGaming technology developer. Back in March 2022, Bede Gaming hired the services of Colin Cole-Johnson. At the time, he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer, a role that he still holds to this day. Sharing his excitement about Whiteley's appointment, Cole-Johnson pointed out: "We’re thrilled to welcome Dan to the team. As CTO, he will be pivotal in driving our technology strategy, collaborating with all teams across the business to ensure Bede is an industry leader in innovative and cutting-edge solutions."

Finally, Bede Gaming's Chief Executive Officer, said about Whiteley: "He will be an integral part of Bede operations, both internally and externally, and his extensive experience in technology leadership makes him an excellent fit for this role."

Whiteley was similarly delighted to become a part of Beda Gaming's Executive team. "I’m proud to become part of Bede’s journey," he said. The new Chief Technology Officer explained that the company has a rich heritage in delivering excellent services, adding that he will be excited to be a part of this process. Finally, Whiteley pointed out: "I’m looking forward to working with the team to deliver cutting-edge technology for the iGaming market."

Besides Whiteley and Cole-Johnson, Bede Gaming recently completed another senior-level appointment. Back in March, the company unveiled that Kirsty Stewart, an expert with more than two decades of experience within the legal vertical, joined its C-suite. At the time of the announcement, Bede Gaming said that Stewart joined its executive-level team and was appointed to the role of Chief Legal and Client Services Officer.
