Blueshyft partners with Lottery Office to help Australians buy lottery tickets

Australia is no longer cut off from the world insofar as the global lottery system is concerned. Thanks to a partnership between The Lottery Office and blueshyft, a private company focusing on providing an in-store payment gateway for digital services, Australian residents will have access to some of the biggest draws in the world. This will be available through a network of retail properties all over Australia.

Currently, there are more than 1,400 newsagents in the country which will make it easy for any lottery fan to buy tickets for some of the biggest draws available to consumers worldwide. The lottery draws that people can buy into using the blueshyft payment gateway include the European Millions, Mega Lotto in the United States, Super Jackpot in Italy, and other worthwhile draws that come with millions’ worth of prizes.

Commenting on this partnership, The Lottery Office CEO Jaclyn Wood said that this partnership with blueshyft was a game-changer for the lottery operator and that it would result in a "major confidence boost" for frequent players who are keen on trying their luck to win life-changing amounts.

The partnership comes with improvements to the way consumers can make payments as well, offering a powerful solution to make these payments easily and efficiently. According to Wood, the alliance is also an opportunity to motivate players and engage with The Lottery Office.

There will be significant value offered back to the newsagents as well. For each in-store bet, the point-of-sale will earn a percentage or a dollar, depending on which number is bigger. Any new signup for the lottery through a newsagent will result in atidy referral bonus.

Blueshyft is a known name in the game of chance business. The company has been able to process 1.4m transactions in Australia during the 2021/22 financial year alone, which means that the platform is already an established name in the country’s market. Already, companies such as Ladbrokes use blueshyft to ensure that payments are carried out swiftly and promptly.

Australians are some of the biggest spenders when it comes to the lottery. They are said to spend as much as $1.9bn on lottery draws every year.
