7777 gaming picks Mitko Mitev for CEO role

The premier provider of content for the online gambling industry, 7777 gaming, announced a new strategic senior-level appointment on Monday. The company confirmed it hired the services of the gambling industry veteran with extensive experience, Mitko Mitev. Joining 7777 gaming, he was appointed as CEO of the company.

Taking the lead as CEO of the company, Mitev will be in charge of strategic processes. Additionally, he will spearhead the efforts of a growing team consisting of more than 100 commercial, tech and iGaming professionals and experts. Leveraging his extensive skills, Mitev is expected to help 7777 gaming continue to grow within the iGaming vertical.

The company confirmed it hopes that with this appointment, it will boost its plan to challenge the status quo within the online gambling sector by delivering unique lottery, instant win and other innovative products. Besides contributing toward the growth of 7777 gaming, Mitev's appointment as CEO is expected to benefit the company's partners as well.

In his new role as CEO, Mitev brings extensive experience from the iGaming vertical. Before joining 7777 gaming, he was a part NetEnt. Mitev's professional background includes nearly 15 years of experience with Evolution Gaming. At the time, he played a pivotal role and helped the company's growth.

Earlier this month, the company said that it was shortlisted as Rising Star in Nordic Online Casino Technology and Rising Star in Baltic Online Casino Technology, within the prestigious event.
