The leading non-profit body established to safeguard regulated sports betting from match-fixing attempts, the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), expanded its portfolio of partners thanks to a new deal in the Netherlands.
On Tuesday, the Association confirmed it joined forces with 711 B.V., a leading betting and gaming operator with a strong presence in the Dutch market.
Currently, the Netherlands requires gambling operators to join forces with a betting integrity monitoring body and the latest agreement addresses this requirement.
Thanks to the agreement, 711 joins a growing list of more than 125 sports betting brands and 50 companies across the globe that provide vital information to IBIA.
The latest collaboration reaffirms the operator's dedication to ensuring the integrity of its sports betting operations in the Netherlands.
What's more, the deal helps IBIA further expand its footprint in the European country with the association now representing approximately 90% of the licensed betting operators.
Khalid Ali, IBIA's CEO, revealed in a statement that it is thrilling to join forces with 711 for this new betting integrity partnership in the Netherlands.
"The decision to join IBIA demonstrates the company's desire to utilize the best integrity protection available for its sports betting product and further expands IBIA’s monitoring network in the Netherlands," he added
Finally, Ali pointed out: "IBIA looks forward to working closely with 711 and to protecting its business from corrupt betting activity."
Gilles De Backer, 711's COO, spoke about the company's launch on the Dutch market back in April 2022, outlining that besides the strong casino product, 711 grew its offering with a sportsbook from Kambi.
"We’re very pleased to finally welcome the sportsbook alongside our casino product on 711.nl. and to safeguard our sportsbook’s integrity by integrating it within IBIA’s global monitoring system," he said in conclusion.
The deal with IBIA comes after last month, 711 joined forces with Bragg Gaming for a new partnership expansion.
At the time, Bragg said that it agreed to power the operator's sportsbook for the Dutch market.
Again, last month, UEFA confirmed that Euro 2024 ended with zero integrity concerns.
This monumental achievement was completed thanks to close collaboration between IBIA and UEFA.
As an international integrity body, IBIA helps monitor betting transactions globally.
The association's members have a turnover of more than $300bn annually, which represents approximately 50% of the global commercial retail and online betting sector.
