Jerry Jones expected to make a major pass rusher trade, NFL insider Jason La Canfora claims

As the NFL trade deadline is approaching, franchises are looking to strengthen their rosters.

The Dallas Cowboys' owner, Jerry Jones, may acquire a pass rusher ahead of the trade deadline, and one potential target is Josh Sweat with the Arizona Cardinals, the award-winning NFL reporter, insider and analyst, Jason La Canfora suggests.

"Josh Sweat with the Cardinals. That's someone who Jerry Jones with the Cowboys has his eye on. I believe, and based on my conversations with NFL executives, they believe, Jerry Jones is going to get someone," the insider explained in an exclusive interview with Casino Guru News.

However, besides Sweat, another player may ultimately bolster the Cowboys' roster.

According to La Canfora, that player could be Max Crosby with the Las Vegas Raiders.

"Maybe it is Max Crosby from the Raiders. That would be a really steep price," the insider and analyst continued.

La Canfora compared such a trade to the Cowboys' Micah Parsons trade but in "reverse and doing it for an older player."

On the other hand, the analyst pointed to the Raiders' goal when trading Max Crosby, saying it is unlikely for them to trade him for less than two #1 picks.

Such an offer the Raiders received from the Baltimore Ravens in the offseason, La Canfora reminded, acknowledging that the trade ultimately fell through the cracks.

"But I do think Jerry Jones is going to get one of those pass rushers, and I think all three of those pass rushers, I'm sorry, at least two of those three pass rushers will be traded," the insider said in conclusion.
