Later on the same day, Jeff Platt confirmed the start of his journey as an employee of WSOP. "Today is my first day as an employee at WSOP. I strongly believe in the vision for poker's biggest and best series in the world, and I greatly look forward to helping to build the brand," he explained.

Jeff Platt added: "It's been the honor of my career to be a part of the broadcast for the Main Event, the greatest poker tournament in the world. And I'm thrilled to expand the partnership with the WSOP in an expanded role, as both a host and a producer." The popular poker broadcaster said he is looking forward to WSOP's vision for the 2026 World Series of Poker.
