Born on November 7, 1973, Leon Tsoukernik's career started in Toronto, Canada, back in 1991. While at the time, he worked for an antiques shop, it didn't take long for him to relocate to Prague, the Czech Republic, and start his own antiquarian venture in 1993.

Several years later, Leon Tsoukernik was already operating a handful of antique shops in Prague and across the ocean, in New York City and Washington D.C. Proving himself as an excellent salesman, he attracted celebrity clients, including movie legends such as Tom Cruise and Jackie Chan, among other famous people. Continuing this line of work, Leon Tsoukernik helped co-found an international antiquities dealership in 1999.

In the early 2000s, Leon Tsoukernik purchased land in Rozvadov and started to build his own casino. He added: "At the same time, I am deeply grateful to my wife Sandra, who spent days and nights at my bedside. I believe that played a role."

While he has emerged as the winner of four tournaments, one in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2019, his best live cash prize came from a fourth-place finish. Participating in the $300,000 No Limit Hold'em event during the Super High Roller Bowl from 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Leon Tsoukernik ranked fourth place. Despite not being the winner, he won the mind-boggling $1.8m prize.

Other noteworthy finishes include his participation at the €100,000 No Limit Hold'em Short Deck - King's Super High Roller during WSOPE 2019 in Rozvadov. At the time, Leon Tsoukernik emerged as the winner of the event, taking the top prize of €1,102,000 ($1,231,519).

In an interview for Forbes Česko, the entrepreneur said: "It's true, I sold King's Casino, I sold the hotel, online and Casino Admiral. I completely left the world of gambling. We still have some logistics business around Rozvadov, I stayed in that."

The sale of his share of King's Casino and other assets was evaluated between €300m ($353m) and €400m ($470.6m). However, Leon Tsoukernik admitted that he cannot confirm neither the latter nor the former figure, citing non-compete and confidentiality agreements.
