Two colleagues discussing some business.

WagerWire, an innovative betting platform where sports fans and bettors are able to buy and sell wagers they draft through a dedicated platform - and soon an app - is now integrating with Sparket: Social Betwork, which is a B2B live event wagering software, the companies shared in a press release sent to Casino Guru News.

This technological alliance will give a further boost to WagerWire’s product offer, empower consumers to participate in even more exciting betting opportunities, and explore various opportunities across sports, esports, live events, and so much more.

Commenting on the partnership, WagerWire Co-founder and CEO Zach Doctor said that Sparket was well-aligned with the company’s own journey toward delivering the best possible sports betting experience.

"Adding WagerWire means that each bet originated by Sparket will become a tradable asset," Doctor added and said that the tie-up would lead to a new era in the betting industry. WagerWire’s mobile app launch is still pending but it’s expected early this year.

Once it’s live, players will be able to benefit from Sparket’s secondary market trading on the WagerWire app, and on Sparket’s platform directly. WagerWire is confident in the success of this partnership as it has based it on carefully compiled data from consumers.

As part of a survey compiled in 2022, WagerWire discovered that 90% of online sports bettors would be more likely to pick and stick with a sportsbook that has a secondary bet trading functionality. WagerWire has not yet released the full data of its survey, with a second batch of insights slated to release in February and offer further understanding of market demands and preferences insofar as WagerWire products go.

Sparket CEO Aaron Basch was very happy with the partnership and praised WagerWire for the powerful opportunities it provided for its community. "The ability to flip in and out of bets gives our users more power and freedom over their wagers," he noted. He emphasized the fact that this integration will make pari-mutuel markets tradable after an event has begun and the windows – have closed.

According to Basch, this would undoubtedly elevate the customer experience and offer patrons a brand-new way to experience and enjoy both WagerWire and Sparket’s products and offers. Previously, WagerWire partnered with Wagr, a sports betting platform.
