SOFTSWISS has released the Q1 2024 results for its Sportsbook product, focusing on key operating metrics that help flesh out how the solution has fared and how it has been received by partner businesses and their customers. As a result, SOFTSWISS noted that the trend towards mobile betting continues to accelerate, with handheld devices now accounting for 90% of the gross gaming revenue (GGR) generated by the platform, up from 86% in Q1 2023.

Commenting on the results, the Head of SOFTSWISS Sportsbook, Alexander Kamenetskyi, has said that the current results came after the company adjusted its products that reflect on current market trends captured by technological tweaks carried out by the company.

"Our focus on enhancing live and mobile betting capabilities directly responds to these insights, aiming to provide our partners and their customers with superior betting experiences," Kamenetskyi said.

Results have really been going up. Turnover alone shot up by 246% compared on a year-over-year basis. Gain from Q4 2023 to Q1 2024 was another 136% the company shared in a press release sent to Casino Guru News. Revenue also climbed another 251% year-over-year, and growth month-over-month has been consistent as well, signalling that the Sportsbook product is in a very good position.

SOFTSWISS also broke down what the main performance drivers were, with the company ranking American football among the most popular events, and not least, boosted by the Super Bowl in February. Ice hockey surprisingly remained very strong, as bettors have found the sport a fun event to wager on. Soccer and tennis have also been able to elicit a strong response from bettors, ahead of basketball.

Real-time wagering has been among the main drivers of these results, SOFTSWISS confided in the press release.
