Platform and game supplier for the iGaming industry SkillOnNet has secured a pair of major milestones in the newly-fledged online casino market in Brazil, with the company receiving a provisional license and going live with two brands at the same time, Casino Guru News learned in an email press release.
Moving forward, SkillOnNet will be present in the local market with the PlayUZU and BacanaPlay online casino brands. Both companies are set in the .bet.br domain as is requested from all regulated gambling sites in the country
This move significantly expands SkillOnNet’s local market reach and solidifies the company’s presence at a time when suppliers, operators, and platform providers are all rushing to claw a share out of what is expected to be one of the largest online casino markets in the world.
SkillOnNet already operates more than 40 brands across numerous regulated markets, but the company’s entry in Brazil gives it the opportunity to significantly expand its global footprint and the number of players it caters to.
SkillOnNet Country Manager for Brazil, Pedro Garcia, has welcomed the opportunity to see the company quickly deploy into one of the most important global gaming markets.
"Our goal is to be a tier-one casino operator in this hugely significant new market by investing aggressively in marketing and brand development and establishing a strong local team," Garcia said.
He added that the company’s licensure in Brazil was another sign of the firm’s long-term commitment to both compliance and responsible gambling, as well as an interest in showing local audiences the quality of SkillOnNet’s products.
SkillOnNet has been methodically growing its presence in the Latin American market over the past months. In August, the company obtained a Peruvian iGaming license, allowing it to expand into yet another important local market.
The company has also been growing its presence in other core markets, including Ontario, where, last year, SkillOnNet brought Quickspin content.
SkillOnNet has had a busy year expanding its portfolio of games over the past months, bringing in a variety of developers, including Stakelogic, Greentube, Spinomenal, and others.
