SG:certified and Crucial Compliance continue with their mission to make the gambling industry a safer and more trustworthy space as they have now pooled their efforts into a new educational program, focusing on anti-money laundering (AML).

By bringing their respective fields of expertise, the two companies are looking to ensure that they can assist stakeholders have access to updated guidance on how to tackle AML and enhance business safeguards as well as consumer protection measures.

The companies are uniquely placed to deliver this program as they have extensive understanding of the subject matter and have worked tirelessly to improve their grasp of AML issues that affect the gambling industry.

Both companies hail AML compliance as a "critical" aspect of the gambling industry and breaches of such measures have already cost industries, including the banking and gambling sector, cumulative fines worth billions of dollars. Commenting on the new opportunity presented by this collaboration, SG:certified Communications Director Vanessa Simpson welcomed this opportunity and said:

Crucial Compliance Regulatory Compliance Consultant Sonia Wasowska was similarly pleased with this new opportunity which has been designed to meet the ever-changing needs of industry.

Earlier this month, SG:certified introduced a new series of courses focused on improving standards for responsible gambling in the industry and written by Dr Maris Catania, a long-time industry specialist and researcher in all matters that concern responsible play. Catania joined SG:certified earlier this year as the company’s Safer Gambling Senior Consultant.

The company’s recent collaboration with Crucial Compliance is designed to help businesses in the gambling industry build trust with their customers and also adopt a high standard for financial and regulatory integrity, which can be business both from the standpoint of long-term sustainability and protecting consumers.
