The leading online casino and betting company, Rush Street Interactive (RSI), announced the much-anticipated launch of its proprietary online poker platform.
On Thursday, the company released details regarding its new platform, developed in collaboration with the recognizable poker pro, Phil Galfond.
RSI's groundbreaking platform marks its debut in Pennsylvania, where it will offer a seamless experience for players online and at the renowned poker rooms at Rivers Casinos in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
In a press release, the company confirmed that the BetRivers Poker platform was developed with continuous feedback from professional poker players, who were part of the senior leadership team and brought unique insights.
What's more, Galfond also played a key role in the development of the unique platform.
The poker professional, according to RSI, played a vital role not only in the development but for the design of the platform and contributed further as an ambassador.
Galfond's unique insights helped fine-tune the platform, ensuring that BetRivers Poker delivers everything the players need, regardless of their level or experience.
RSI's new online poker platform offers a range of different game formats.
The list includes Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs), cash games and Sit & Go tournaments, delivering exceptional experiences for players with different skill levels.
What's more, the online poker platform brings Cub3d Sit and Go Tournaments (SNGs), which give players a chance to win up to 1,500x of their buy-in within minutes of starting.
One of the unique features of BetRivers Poker is the platform's Dynamic Avatars, which according to RSI "provide players with real-time insights into their opponents’ play styles."
Another unique selling point of RSI's new platform is the seamless experience it offers in collaboration with the poker rooms at Rivers Casinos in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
Bolstering the experience for retail players, poker fans will benefit from a seamless transition between online and live poker.
At the same time, integrated rewards will further elevate the excitement for poker fans.
"This omnichannel approach adds value for Rivers Casino’s poker community while offering all players the benefits of playing both online and live," explained RSI.
Galfond shared his excitement about the release of the new platform, outlining that it was designed "for the players – all players."
The poker pro added that BetRivers Poker welcomes all players, from the ones who are playing their first hand to seasoned poker aficionados.
"I’ve been heavily involved in the game design, promotions, and policy decisions, and, more importantly, in building an incredible team that sees online poker the way I do," said Galfond in conclusion.
RSI's Chief Executive Officer, Tim Drehkoff, was similarly delighted to see the launch of the new online poker platform in Pennsylvania.
"This launch reinforces our commitment to offering Rivers Casino’s guests a wide variety of gaming options," he explained.
Drehkoff spoke about the importance of strengthening the experiences for online and in-person poker players, adding that the platform's rewards and loyalty program complements this process.
While BetRivers Poker launched initially in Pennsylvania, RSI confirmed its intentions to expand the reach of the platform, in line with its growth strategy.
