The fast-growing online affiliate and content marketing company that focuses on delivering comparison services for sports and gaming, Raketech, strengthened its team with a new appointment. The company has announced it selected Dalia Turner for the role of Chief People Officer. Although the announcement was made recently, Raketech confirmed that the appointment is effective from December 5, 2023.

Joining the company's C-suite, Turner is expected to oversee strategic responsibilities related to HR. This includes reinforcing Raketech's culture and supporting the company's growth. Moreover, as Chief People Officer, Turner will play an important role in global HR processes across the company.

Before joining Raketech, she held an important role with the real-time machine learning data science company that offers machine learning tools that flag fraudulent transactions, Feedzai. During Turner's tenure with the company, her efforts helped grow its team from 300 to more than 600 employees.

Throughout her professional career, she was also a part of the globally recognized software giant, Microsoft. For many years, she held important senior-level roles, overseeing the company's operations in Portugal, as well as the APAC region. At the time, Turner was in charge of leadership development, performance management and people strategy within different countries.

In a statement, Raketech's CEO, Oskar Mühlbach, welcomed Turner to the company's growing team of experts. "With her extensive international experience from global tech companies, in Europe and elsewhere, she brings valuable insights, know-how, networks, and strategies to Raketech," he explained. Finally, Mühlbach noted: "I’m very much looking forward to working together with Dalia to ensure Raketech stays attractive to the best talents in the industry while keeping our entrepreneurial culture."

In its interim report released earlier this year, Raketech posted a significant increase in revenue. For the third quarter of 2023 or the period between July and September this year, the company reached an all-time high revenue of €21.5m. This result represented a year-over-year increase of 65.8% when compared to the €13m revenue reported for the corresponding period in 2022.

Not unexpectedly adjusted EBITDA in Q3 this year marked an increase as well. Overall, Raketech posted €5.6m in adjusted EBITDA. When compared to the €4.8m result posted for the same period in 2022, an increase of 16.5% is observed.
