SOFTSWISS has continued to post robust financial and operational results for its Sportsbook product in the third quarter of the year, with the company doubling its turnover from the second quarter of 2024 and seeing a 17.6% increase in its cybersports vertical.
The success reflects SOFTSWISS’ ongoing commitment to developing strong experiences and engaging products for its partner operators, allowing them to achieve robust results.
The company’s biggest revenue-generators remained football, tennis, basketball, table tennis, and eFootball, with the last category overtaking the highly-popular Counter-Strike 2 betting market, nodding at a shift within the esports betting sector.
In the meantime, SOFTSWISS had more interesting data to share. On a quarter-over-quarter basis, the company said, the average live bet grew by 10%, which the firm said was good news for partner businesses, with the live betting vertical contributing 78.6% to the total sports betting turnover.
The number of bets quarter-over-quarter grew by 18.7% and the average bet increased by 9.7% in general, SOFTSWISS noted. Although the company did not go into more specifics about the esports market, it outlined its own ambitions for a rapidly evolving sports betting market as a whole.
Commenting on this opportunity, SOFTSWISS Sportsbook Head Alexander Kamenetskyi has welcomed the opportunity to see the company continue to clock in impressive growth and deliver on a successful strategy that involves multiple verticals.
"The growth of cybersports presents new opportunities; for specialized projects targeting specific audiences, esports events can also serve as an effective starting point," Kamenetskyi said, nodding to the increasingly prominent role cybersports has been playing.
SOFTSWISS has been looking to actively expand its global footprint, with the company’s Sportsbook product receiving a certification in Brazil, arguably one of the most exciting sports betting markets in the world, that is due to launch on January 1, 2024.
The company also introduced a Horse Racing Module for its Sportsbook suite, making for another important addition to its core offer, along with more than 2,400 races, local and international races covered every month.
SOFTSWISS has been bent on innovation, as the company has similarly expanded with a certification for its Jackpot Aggregator in Bulgaria, and it further pursued innovation by launching its dedicated Lotto Software, turning itself into the 360-degree tech juggernaut the company’s 15 years of experience suggest it is.
