NBA names NorthStar Gaming an Authorized Sports Betting Operator

The iGaming and sportsbook company that owns and operates NorthStar Bets, NorthStar Gaming, announced a new deal with the National Basketball Association (NBA). The company said Wednesday that the terms of the new deal designate it as an Authorized Gaming Operator of the Association in Ontario.

Under the new deal, NorthStar Bets will leverage real-time NBA data and create new immersive experiences for fans of the sport. NorthStar Gaming's leading platform will feature NBA logos and marks. According to the leading iGaming and sports betting operator, its platform will also improve its navigation.

Ultimately, the new deal sees the NBA and NorthStar Gaming join forces to also strengthen the protection of the integrity of NBA games. A statement released by NorthStar Gaming explains: "Together, NorthStar Bets and the NBA will collaborate on best-in-class practices to protect the integrity of NBA games."

The latest agreement reaffirms the company's commitment to offering unique experiences for its sports fans. In fact, the deal with the NBA comes on the heels of other partnerships unveiled by NorthStar Gaming that sought to deliver live in-game betting options as well as pre-game capabilities for multiple major sports leagues such as the NHL.

Michael Moskowitz, NorthStar Gaming's Chief Executive Officer and a founding partner, said about the latest deal: "As an Authorized Gaming Operator, NorthStar Gaming will connect our players with official data and stats from the NBA and provide them with an insights-packed user experience." In conclusion, he added: "We're excited to offer current and future NorthStar Bets players with an authentic NBA experience on our platform."
