IGT takes home two prizes from ICE London 2024 award programs

The leading global gaming company, International Game Technology (IGT), has announced it was recognized with two important gaming industry awards. The company revealed it secured the honors from the European Casino Awards and the International Gaming Awards, two industry-leading award programs that were held in conjunction with the ICE London last week.

As a result, IGT was named "Best Diversity and Inclusion Employer" by the European Casino Awards. The company secured the prestigious recognition for the third time this year. The recent award recognizes IGT's efforts toward diversity and inclusion and follows an assessment by industry professionals and experts. Ultimately, the European Casino Awards highlight the efforts of some of the best gambling suppliers and operators, recognizing their exceptional efforts and dedication toward excellence.

On the other hand, as noted, IGT also secured an award from the International Gaming Awards. The company's omnichannel innovative games were recognized with the "Lottery Product of the Year" award. Currently, the International Gaming Awards highlight the efforts of land-based and online casino operators, as well as suppliers from all around the world. The recognitions are awarded after a panel of gaming industry experts assesses the companies based on specific guidelines.

Brian Blake, IGT's Vice President, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, commented on the topic in a statement explaining: "IGT being recognized as the 'Best Diversity and Inclusion Employer' for the third year in a row at the European Casino Awards reinforces the Company's leadership in and commitment to creating a workplace where inclusion and belonging is the standard, and where everyone feels they have a real chance to grow and succeed."

Finally, he pointed out: "With dedicated focus, IGT's company-wide DEI initiatives continue to elevate our workplace culture, drive employee engagement and business results, and empower employees to bring their full, authentic selves to work."

Jay Gendron, IGT's Chief Operating Officer Global Lottery, was similarly thrilled regarding the Lottery Product of the Year award the company secured. He explained that the award recognizes IGT's leadership position in the global lottery vertical, underlining its strong portfolio of games. Finally, Gendron said: "Drawing on a range of dynamic capabilities, including instant ticket printing, eInstant studios, and retail and draw game innovators, IGT offers an exceptional library of top-performing omnichannel titles."

Back in December, IGT secured a top score for the 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index. The prestigious achievement came from the Human Rights Campaign, recognizing the company with a top score of 100.
