Global sports technology company, Genius Sports, announced a new content partnership with Bally's Interactive, a dedicated division of Bally's Corporation in charge of the company's iGaming, daily fantasy sports, free-to-play and sports betting platforms.
The announcement came Thursday and sees Genius power Bally's Interactive brands with data, as well as leading streaming solutions. Under the terms of the new partnership, Bally's Interactive brands will leverage Genius' complete suite of official data and streaming solutions. Those solutions will power Bally's online sportsbook Bally Bet.
What's more, the collaboration will see Bally's Interactive leverage Genius Sports' leading sportsbook solution called Genius Trading Services (GTS). Thanks to GTS, Bally's Interactive will boost its operational performance. The solution will also help Bally's maximize its profits for the thousands of events it covers annually.
The Chief Operating Officer of Bally's Interactive North America, Adi Dhandhania, shared his excitement in a statement. He said: "Working with Genius will help ensure that our products have the industry-leading features consumers expect from their favorite sports apps."
The new comprehensive agreement will see Genius deliver low latency video feeds via its streaming solutions. The videos will enrich the live sports betting experience for Bally's Interactive customers through streams of FIBA basketball, FIVB volleyball leagues as well as football leagues from China, Colombia, Argentina and Iceland.
Last but not least, Genius explained the new collaboration includes its "leading portfolio of exclusive, official data rights, comprising the English Premier League, NASCAR, CFL, Liga MX, Argentine and Colombian soccer and the NFL." In other words, the deal will see Bally's Interactive access Genius' exclusive services and products. This will enable the company to leverage proprietary Next Gen Stats (NGS), official sports betting data, as well as real-time statistics for the NFL.
Mark Locke, Genius' CEO, added: "With its market-leading brands and impressive line-up of official sports team partners, we are thrilled to enter into such a wide-ranging partnership with Bally’s Interactive."
He explained that thanks to the new collaboration, Bally's will leverage Genius' live streaming solutions and official data. In conclusion, Locke predicted that the partnership will bring unique experiences for Bally's customers around the US.
Besides the deal with Bally's Interactive, Genius announced the launch of a new initiative with the Canadian Football League (CFL) recently. The fan-serving initiative is called CFL Blitz Picks. Presented by BetRegal, the new initiative is a free-to-play weekly predictor game that will be added to the CFL GameZone.
Before that, Genius released its Q2 results, outlining the financial performance of the company for the three months ended June 30, 2022. Overall, the company's revenue for the period hit $71.1m, up 27.3% when compared to Q2, 2021.
