Francesco La Deda joins WA.Technology as Chief Financial Officer

The provider of leading business-to-business iGaming solutions, WA.Technology, strengthened its senior-level team with the addition of Francesco La Deda, an expert with extensive financial experience. Joining the company, he was appointed to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As WA.Technology's new CFO, he is expected to provide strategic guidance for its finance department, propelling its growth throughout 2024 and beyond.

As the company's new CFO, La Deda will support the company's financial strategy, providing expertise and knowledge that are expected to prove invaluable. The recent senior-level hire comes during a busy period for WA.Technology as the company continues to grow its presence within the competitive online gambling sector.

As a seasoned expert within the financial vertical, La Deda brings a wide range of skills and a deep understanding of different business models. He holds an MSc in Management from Bocconi University and an MBA from Cambridge Judge Business School. Moreover, La Deda is a first-time pass CIMA-qualified professional and has multilingual proficiency in English, French and Italian, making him a perfect fit for WA.Technology's international team.

Throughout his extensive career, La Deda accumulated significant knowledge after being part of leading companies within the technology, fast-moving consumer goods and media verticals. He recently held the role of Vice President of Commercial Finance with Aristocrat. During his tenure with the company, La Deda played an instrumental role in a number of company achievements across North America and Eastern Europe.
