The US flag flying.

Global iGaming behemoth Evolution has launched a new studio in Connecticut, one in which the company plans to hold jobs for hundreds of employees. As Evolution expects a rapid expansion across the North American market, not least because of Ontario and DraftKings CEO and co-founder Jason Robins calling on more iGaming regulation, the company is preparing.

The Connecticut studio should offer jobs to as many as 400 people in the foreseeable future. This comes on top of the 140 employees already working at the company’s New York studio, with more expansion plans coming from the company.

Evolution already has plans for what its future workforce will look like, offering employment to IT specialists, technicians, production experts, security specialists, and more. The company is looking to provide dedicated content for FanDuel and DraftKings in Connecticut at first.

The company has decided to combine its desire for expansion with the peculiarities of local legislation which demands live casino products to be based within the same state that they are targeting. This could create a significant upkeep cost for Evolution if that were the case in every state, but as of right now, some states seem open to the idea of allowing games to be broadcast from neighboring jurisdictions.

In the meantime, Evolution is confident that there is sufficient demand for its products to mandate the hiring of 400 workers in Connecticut alone. FanDuel and DraftKings are two well-selected partners who account for a big share of the iGaming market, and more expansions of online casinos are expected to follow.

Connecticut governorNed Lemont was among those welcoming thearrival of the new company. He said that Evolution’s choice to join the state demonstrated that Connecticut had a competitive edge over the neighboring states. While true, Connecticut is also a huge iGaming market.

Other state officials, including Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection CommissionerMichelle Seagull, also welcomed the company’s new development in the state. Seagull assured that Evolution’s product offering and practices already met the necessary standards to be a part of the technological landscape of the state.

Evolution has been working hard to provide the best content possible. Other than live dealer games, the company announced plans to acquire Nolimit City. The company has also been working to reveal new studios as it plans on expanding even further.
