Evoke is on a continued journey to strengthen the safety of players by offering cutting-edge solutions.
As part of the company’s latest effort, Evoke has teamed up with Department of Trust, a company that specializes in the provision of financial risk checks for regulated gambling operators, enabling the operator to run more extensive and zero-traction reviews of new players and onboard them without sacrificing financial performance.
At the same time, Evoke’s pick of Department of Trust’s player safety platform will allow it to protect consumers who may not be eligible to play or bet above certain limits based on their financial standing.
This partnership comes in time as the United Kingdom, one of Evoke’s chief jurisdictions, is pushing for harder checks and consumer protection measures, with such reviews becoming mandatory.
Companies such as Department of Trust are confident that they can help with the onboarding process, helping companies not sacrifice financial performance, while also complying with draconian safeguards.
Evoke will deploy the tool across its brands and strengthen both compliance and player protections.
The decision has been inescapable as regulatory changes are going to make player reviews at registration obligatory, but the good news is that companies such as Department of Trust have long been preparing for this by creating seamless and frictionless software to face these challenges.
Department of Trust also touts its ability to run complex financial background checks on customers but never reveal or encroach on their privacy, leading to a faster and safer onboarding process.
Department of Trust CEO Charles Cohen has welcomed this opportunity and said that it was a chance for his company to prove its capabilities in a highly demanding market, praising the industry’s efforts to raise consumer protection standards in the process:
"The UK industry has never had a stronger focus on player protection and responsible gaming. Due to the evolving nature of regulation in one of the world’s most established markets, operators like Evoke have a clear commercial imperative to scale complex processes with the best data without eroding player trust."
This is not the first time that Evoke has committed to strengthening its responsible gambling practices. Earlier this month, the company also teamed up with Mindway AI, another consumer-focused RG solution that leverages data, psychological analysis, and machine learning to help protect consumers.
As the company’s outlook remains optimistic for the second half of the year, Evoke is often proofing its offer in the United Kingdom to ensure that it reaches the highest consumer standards.
