Exit sign.

Bragg Gaming Group, Inc. has announced that it is parting ways with its Chief Operating Officer and President, Lara Falzon, who will step down from her positions and exit the company on December 31. She will still advise and guide the company in an active capacity through the last day on the job, offering support for Bragg across the board.

Falzon has worked closely with Bragg Gaming Group over the past three years. She joined in March 2021, based on her LinkedIn profile, and immediately assumed a position on the group’s board.

Her appointment at the time was not a random event either. Falzon is a well-known veteran in the industry and was already an established and trusted partner at the time of her joining of Bragg Gaming Group. Prior to her joining Bragg Gaming Group, Falzon worked for both RedTigerGaming and NetEnt.

Red Tiger Gaming was eventually acquired by NetEnt, and the latter was then bought by Evolution in what was one of the biggest deals in the industry in years. She worked as Chief Financial Officer at both Red Tiger and NetEnt.

Commenting on the news of her leave, Falzon said that she had been honored to be a part of the company and help it make progress, setting it up for consistent growth.

"I am confident Bragg Gaming Group [sic] has outstanding leadership and team members to guide its continued success going forward," Falzon concluded. Falzon was also hailed by Bragg’s Chairman and CEO, Matevž Mazij, who was similarly pleased with the professionalism Falzon had demonstrated as part of Bragg Gaming.

"Lara’s dedication, leadership and hard work have left a significant mark on Bragg, and we are grateful for the knowledge and experience she brought to Bragg [sic]," he explained.

Although Falzon’s leave is a setback in its executive structure, Bragg Gaming Group has been delivering robust results and exploring fresh opportunities. The company introduced its content with BetMGM in New Jersey and has been focusing on the North American market, and the United States in particular.

The company also cleared a Gibraltar license in September, allowing it to secure a license from a recognized and respected licensing authority. Bragg has also secured a string of partnerships with prominent operators, to name 888, Rush Street Interactive, PokerStars, and others.
