The fast-growing global iGaming content and technology provider, Bragg Gaming Group, announced Monday a new senior-level appointment. The company confirmed it hired the services of Simon Dudnjik, a seasoned executive with more than a decade of experience within the gambling sector. Joining Bragg Gaming Group, he was appointed to the role of Chief Human Resources Officer. Although the announcement came earlier this week, the company explained that Dudnjik's appointment is effective as of January 1, 2024.
In his role as Chief Human Resources Officer, Dudnjik joins a growing team of experts at Bragg Gaming Group. His responsibilities will include the management and expansion of the company's workforce in different jurisdictions across the globe. Dudnjik will be based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, but he will also play a key role in people functions for Bragg's offices in London, Malta, Chennai, Toronto, Las Vegas and Reno.
Overall, the new Chief Human Resources Officer brings more than a decade of experience in people management. Prior to joining Bragg Gaming Group, Dudnjik held a number of senior-level roles with Sportradar Group AG, the leading sports betting technology company. He was a part of the company for 12 years and most recently held the role of VP, People Partnering.
In a statement, Dudnjik commented: "I have long been aware of Bragg – formerly known as Oryx Gaming here in Slovenia – and its reputation as a tier 1 technology employer in the region, so I am honored to now be joining the team as CHRO."
He spoke about the impressive growth of Bragg observed over the last year with the opening of the company's new offices in Malta and Las Vegas. Moreover, Dudnjik said Bragg remains focused on expanding in Slovenia, as well as other strategic jurisdictions. "We have great foundations to build on at Bragg and I can’t wait to get started," explained the new Chief Human Resources Officer in conclusion.
Matevž Mazij, Bragg's Chief Executive Officer, also commented on the topic. He revealed that over the last few years, the company focused on delivering innovative player-account management (PAM) solutions, promotional tools and iGaming technology, while also growing its leading content portfolio of casino titles. "At the same time the regulated iGaming world is getting bigger, and we are supporting our customers in more and more territories around the world," added Mazij.
According to the company's Chief Executive Officer, its growth resulted in the expansion of the company's teams with Bragg seeking to attract the best talent. "With his many years of experience building motivated, successful teams in the international iGaming technology sector, I am delighted to now welcome Simon into the senior leadership team at Bragg to help us meet and exceed our ambitious growth targets," explained Mazij in conclusion.
