BetMGM inks partnership with Kansas City Chiefs

The leading iGaming and sports betting operator, BetMGM, announced a new partnership with the American football team, Kansas City Chiefs. The multi-year partnership sees the operator become one of the first sports betting partners of the team. Under the new partnership, the sports betting and iGaming operator will benefit from in-stadium signage GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Chiefs.

The new collaboration will enhance fan engagement for season ticket members and fans of the team that may receive special prizes, offers or game-day experiences via BetMGM. The company will also benefit from brand exposure via the Chief's digital channels.

Mark Donovan, the President of the Kansas City Chiefs shared his excitement in a statement released on September 1, 2022. He said: "As an industry leader in the space, we are excited to welcome BetMGM to Chiefs Kingdom." Donovan explained that the team supported the sports wagering legislation and invested in it. He pointed out that now, sports fans will be able to gain access to unique experiences for this season and beyond.

Matt Prevost, BetMGM's Chief Revenue Officer, added: "With a rich history and a passionate fan base, the Kansas City Chiefs are an ideal partner." He explained that upon launching its sports betting platform for customers in Kansas, the company is also looking forward to providing Chiefs' fans with unique game-day experiences.

Launching its services in Kansas marks the 24th jurisdiction where BetMGM operates. Besides using mobile devices with iOS and Android, Kansas sports fans can access BetMGM Sportsbook via desktop devices as well.

Aside from joining forces with the Kansas City Chiefs, BetMGM recently announced another collaboration. Seeking to promote Responsible Gambling Education Month, the company joined forces with the American Gaming Association (AGA).

Before that, late in August, BetMGM inked another strategic business-to-business partnership. The company revealed it joined forces with the iGaming industry content supplier and developer Greentube. As a result, BetMGM launched Greentube's content for customers in Michigan. While this partnership expanded Greentube's presence in North America, it also boosted BetMGM's nationwide presence.

Headquartered in New Jersey, BetMGM was founded back in 2018. Although the company continues to expand and enter new jurisdictions, it remains committed to responsible gambling. Customers of the leading operator can access a set of resources that promotes responsible play. Those solutions include GameSense, a leading responsible gaming program. BetMGM clients who access GameSense can benefit from responsible gambling tools.
