BETER, Abios and Betbazar partnership.

Kambi Group company Abios has secured an important milestone partnership with BETER, a provider of esports content and data. The partnership is facilitated by Betbazar, who brokered the deal. As a result, Abios will have access to the BETER-powered eSoccer and eBasketball tournaments which feature 14,000 matches monthly.

This will enable Abios to further provide partners with fast and reliable content around the clock and help sportsbooks fill in the gaps in the seasonal sports calendar. Abios will use this opportunity with BETER to increase its footprint in the fast-paced esports betting market, which has been increasingly popular with consumers of all backgrounds and interests.

Part of this is because eSoccer and eBasketball tournaments offer players a consistent stream of fast and engaging events they can place bets on in a format they understand. Abios noted that since the pandemic hit in 2020, eBasketball and eSoccer, represented by video games NBA2K and FIFA, have had a place with betting enthusiasts.

The sports simulators were able to carve a niche for themselves and generate a strong following even among mainstream sports fans and bettors. While eSoccer and eBasketball were thought of as products designed to bring more esports fans to the mainstream sports space, the reverse has happened, as Abios and BETER have observed over the years.

Abios’ expertise focuses on collating pre-game data for FIFA games for the past several years, but by teaming up with BETER, the company can deliver much deeper insights now facilitated by both companies. Abios CEO and Founder Oskar Fröberg welcomed this opportunity and highlighted Betbazar’s role in it:

We’re thrilled to partner with Betbazar for the data produced by BETER, an industry leader in creating content for betting and gaming solutions.

Fröberg added that this partnership will expand the pre-existing offer and deepen the company’s understanding of the sector. A similar sentiment was shared by Gal Ehrlich, CEO at BETER, who said that Abios’ partnership is appreciated, calling the company a leading B2B esports supplier of data and technology.

"We would also like to express our gratitude and appreciation to Betbazar for supporting us with the opportunity of engaging Abios. We look forward to productive and long-term cooperation," he added. Ehrlich also thanked Betbazar for supporting BETER with the opportunity to strike closer ties with Abios.

Betbazar COO Max Sevostianov was equally pleased with the news. In this partnership, Sevostianov saw a testimony to the success of esports as a vertical tailored to the expectations and preferences of new generations. "It’s a privilege," he concluded, referring to the role Betbazar has played in this new alliance.
