The Latin American market continues to be an important opportunity for sports betting and gaming brands from all over the world. 10bet, an international operator of sportsbooks has made its debut in Mexico, setting a firm foot into the local market, and now seeking to provide local crowds with a variety of experiences, various media outlets reported.
Apart from sports betting markets, the brand will also be bringing online casino games, with both vertical legal in the country and enjoying a strong reception from local players. Commenting on this opportunity, 10bet Chief Revenue Officer Global Arthur Perry welcomed the opportunity and said his company was thrilled to be dipping a toe in Mexico.
"Mexico is a country with a deep passion for sports and online entertainment, and we are excited to offer Mexican players a thrilling and safe platform where they can indulge in their favourite games and sports betting activities," the CROG added, arguing that the platform had a lot to offer.
In terms of betting options, there is an ample range of solutions to explore, Arthur said, but this is not all, as 10bet also brings content from some of the world’s best-known iGaming suppliers, including Pragmatic Play, NetEnt and Evolution. Mexico is also not the only place where the brand has been actively expanding.
The company has been growing its footprint in South Africa and Africa in general and it has been around since 2003. Regionally, 10bet is represented in markets such as Ghana, Kenya, Zambia, and not least, Tanzania. In fact, much of the operator’s efforts have been narrowly focused on the African continent with Latin America now proving a new avenue of opportunity.
Latin America has been transforming itself into a hub for gaming and sports betting, with Brazil moving forward with legislation and Argentina also expanding. Mexico itself has already attracted several prominent brands to the country, offering new opportunities to players.
There have been a few partnerships between suppliers and local operators. BGaming recently teamed up with Betmexico.mx and Bragg Gaming Group expanded its content alliance with a local partner in Mexico, Caliente Interactive.
