Thank you for your message. I understand your concerns about escalating the matter to an ADR. However, since MonsterCasino is regulated by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) and uses eCOGRA as its Alternative Dispute Resolution provider, it is obliged to follow eCOGRA’s decision. Their rulings are binding on UK-licensed operators.
If the situation is as you describe - that the casino incorrectly flagged you as a GAMSTOP-registered individual, even though you have never registered - then eCOGRA should be able to require the casino to reinstate your account and release your winnings.
On the other hand, if you were registered with GAMSTOP at any point before the winnings were accumulated, the casino is not permitted to pay out the winnings. In that case, however, your deposits must still be refunded, and eCOGRA should also address this aspect of the dispute.
Please note that we are not a regulatory authority and cannot compel the casino to act. The ADR, however, does have the authority to intervene, which is why I strongly recommend submitting a formal complaint through eCOGRA.
