The PGA ofAmerica and Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360) have significantly expanded and enhanced their ongoing partnership.
The partnership comes at a key time as the golf world is gearing up for the upcoming 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimik Golf Club in Newton Square, Pennsylvania, with the organizations vowing to do more to ensure fair play and monitoring capabilities designed to detect attempts of undermining the competition.
"The PGA of America has consistently demonstrated its status as a visionary partner. We are proud to deploy the technology necessary to ensure the integrity of the major championship season," IC360 CCO Ali Schempp commented on the recent devleopment.
The rise of sports bettnig has made professional sports organization more wary of the danger of having their events negatively impacted by match-fixers, with golfers tempted to game certain plays in order to secure the outcomes of betting markets.
To build upon the existing relationships and further guarantee the integrity of sports, the PGA of America is now tapping into IC360’s full tech suite, including the ProhiTrade and ProhiBet systems, with the company already factoring in event contracts as one of the possible avenues of potential fraud.
The tools are also designed to boost athlete protection as well as help partners meet regulatory guidelines on compliance.
Thanks to ProhiTrade, the PGA of America will have the opportunity to keep a closer eye on the fast-evolving landscape for event contracts, which have come under heavy debate in the United States, particularly over fears that they may be used to abuse insider information, as the case of former NBA player Damon Jones recently indicated.
The partnership was naturally welcomed by Casey Morton, Senior Director, Global Media, Production, and Wagering for the PGA of America, who saw in it an opportunity to strengthen regulatory compliance for the organization at a time of rapid changes across the landscape.
"By expanding our partnership with IC360 and integrating their full suite of technology, we are taking a proactive step to safeguard our sport and reinforce our commitment to protect the integrity of our championships," Morton said.
