The world-beating streaming platform, Netflix, has had another piece of exciting and, in fact, delectable, news to share as the company is planning to open a restaurant at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Cleverly called NETFLIX BITES Vegas, the restaurant is yet to open doors for fans of the streaming platform’s exquisite content and now - its scrumptious treats. Inspired by some of the company’s best-ranking shows, from Bridgeton to Stranger Things, to Love Is Blind, the company intends to serve customers with good treatment as well as a good cinematic experience.
The restaurant is scheduled to open on February 20 and is prominently featured on the storied Las Vegas Strip. The menu already promises to be quite enticing with options such as:

Commenting on this new opportunity, Netflix VP of Consumer Products, Josh Simon, has welcomed the opportunity to reveal the NETFLIX BITES Vegas venue and offer fans another opportunity to experience their favorite shows as part of a culinary adventure.
Simon mused in the official press statement that this collaboration will allow people to taste the show's cuisine one bite at a time.
"We’re excited to partner with MGM Grand, experts in hospitality and top-notch Vegas entertainment, to offer fans a new way to experience their favorite stories with an invitation to step into the worlds of Stranger Things, Bridgerton, Squid Game, Chef’s Table, Dinner Time Live with David Chang and more," he said.
Already known among casino-goers for some of the best gambling movies on Netflix, the platform is moving further afield and seeks to expand its culture status, venturing into new and exciting verticals.
Although opening a food joint may be a little too ambitious for a streaming platform, the pairing of Netflix’s brand presence with the opportunity to taste your favorite’s show tasty treats may be just what compels holidaymakers to drop by NETFLIX BITES Vegas and try out the menu.
MGM Grand COO & President Mike Neubecker was similarly pleased with the opportunity to introduce this new culinary option to local visitors.
"Working with Netflix for BITES Vegas is the ideal partnership because we both know how to captivate and entertain. Together, we’re creating a destination that blends the best of entertainment and cuisine in a way only MGM and Netflix can deliver," Neubecker said.
It’s all about offering people the opportunity to escape into different worlds – much like Netflix’s original programming is intended to do.
