In another bizarre situation involving top-talented gambling streamers, Adin Ross called TrainwrecksTV to borrow money from the outspoken and often controversial streamer.
During a livestream hosted by TrainwrecksTV, the streamer phoned in and spoke to him about loaning him $10m. He (TrainwrecksTV) refused to loan the money, however, saying that he was practically broke, after losing more than $10m on gambling in little over two days.
The situation was quite bizarre, with TrainwrecksTV still spinning the reels of a slot as he was shutting down Ross over the phone, although he assured that he "loved him."
As to TrainwrecksTV, he has been able to keep the spotlight on himself after recently returning to streaming following a three-month break.
That TrainwrecksTV is supposedly broke comes only days after he proclaimed that he could have won what is essentially billions from affiliate partnerships, but chose not to.
The streamer offered a strong rebuke, criticizing mainstream streamers who had chosen to partner up with affiliates in order to generate wealth. He said that he could have easily earned two billion dollars like that but chose not to, describing the practise as "scummy."
However, TrainwrecksTV is still an enigmatic figure when it comes to his actual net worth and how much money he has in his hands.
Some Internet estimates, based primarily on such video excerpts, suggest that he may be worth in the hundreds of millions of dollars, but the evidence to support this is thin, and an admission that he had lost $10m and is already broke may suggest that he isn’t as well-heeled as appearances suggest.
Then again, it may all be an act.
