Dana White, the mastermind behind the Ultimate Fighting Championship, was filmed last week at a Power Slap event in Las Vegas, welcoming Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan.
The Tate brothers are controversial figures to say the least, facing multiple accusations of human trafficking and related transgressions across the United States, the United Kingdom and Romania.

However, the brothers were allowed to leave the country in a recent prosecutor’s decision in Romania, allowing them to fly to Florida in the United States.
Many speculated that the new administration in the White House has pressured Romania to lift their prohibition to leave the country, as the Tate brothers have been outspoken far-right voices and staunch supporters of President Donald Trump during his campaign.
They flew out at the end of February, and appeared at the event last Friday, where they were given a warm welcome by the entrepreneur himself.
"Welcome to the states, boys," the video caught White telling the brothers, and shaking hands with different people from their entourage.
The glad-handing did rub even conservative voices the wrong way, with John Cardillo, an outspoken conservative himself, arguing that he was "done with the UFC," and expressing his disappointment in White who would welcome a person who "bragged on video about grooming and raping teen girls."
"It tells me all I need to know," Cardillo said flatly in his social media post. Dana White is himself a board member of Meta, and as such, he would normally want to distinguish himself from bad press, but not in this case.
Other observers hurried to rake muck and argued that White, a gambling man, had infamously hit his wife, so it was not surprising he would keep the present company.
For all it’s worth, White admitted wrongdoing, and he said that he did not want anyone to defend his actions, issuing multiple public apologies, and making clean breasts of the incident to various interviewers.
The Tate brothers are charged with human trafficking in their home country and are under criminal investigation in Florida.
The brothers are also wanted in the United Kingdom, facing a litany of charges. Andrew Tate is a dual American-British citizen. The Tate brothers have maintained their innocence in all cases launched against them.
